I was eating a hot pocket, as I am wont to do when I'm hungry, and as I bit in I realized that I hadn't heated it up adequately and that the inside was still cold and partially frozen. For a second I considered going back to the microwave and re-heating it. I then took another mouthful of cold hot pocket and continued eating. I realized I'd hit rock bottom.
It's been a while. So I was sitting at the airport on the floor waiting for my delayed flight. I was tired of everything on my mp3 player. I was trying to find something to listen to. Nothing. Well I finally found something that was not tedious to me. It was rap. I haven't listened to rap in about a year or so. I think my musical taste cycle to different genres, usually it lasts a few months or so before I get tired of it. Thank goodness for the GZA. That Liquid Swords album is like somebody punched me and dragged me through the mud - in sound form.
Other good Rap: Rakim, Public Enemy, Last Emperor, Wu-Tang, Nas
